Murrieta Oaks Nursery is a full service landscape plant nursery, specializing in plants that are locally grown and suitable for the Temecula and Murrieta Valley. Growing on 20 acres we have a large selection of shade and flowering trees, palms, fruit and citrus tree, hedge and screen shrubs, flower shrubs, roses and ground-cover. We have landscape professionals who can help with residential, estate or commercial landscape design and installation. We offer a large selection of Water-Wise and California Native plants that can help reduce your water bill while providing a beautifully designed outdoor environment. Murrieta Oaks Nursery is a distributor of Southland Sod which offers tall, medium and dwarf Fescue blend to match your landscape requirements. We carry landscape compost, mulch, soils and bark-chip covers in bulk and in bags to complete your landscape. Next day delivery and installation is available by customer request. We believe inner beauty begins with your landscape.
History - Established in 1988
The Greer family has been in the Horticultural Nursery Business for over three generations, orginaly established in Pomona, California. The nursery expanded to the Murrieta Valley in 1959 and later incorporated under the new name Murrieta Oaks Nursery in 1988. We have grown with the local population and continue to cultivate plant material that works in the Temecula and Murrieta area.
Meet the Business Owner: Michael G.
Third generation Nurserymen began his work experience at a young age working in the family business during winter and summer school breaks, continued his college education at Cal Polytechnic University, Pomona and graduated from California State University, Chico. With a degree in Business Adminstration, Michael has expanded the nursery operation to it's current 20 acre facility. Growning plants is in our blood and the experiences of past generation has contributed to a sucessful Nursery and Garden Center operation.
